One of the biggest injustices that the sad infrastructure and unplanned growth of cities in India is inflicting on people is to kill the most precious commodity they could have, which is their time. In a world where competition on the basis of customer service is having people to work 24×7, whether its vendors, manufacturers, courier companies, stores or malls; global offices are causing corporate sector to extend timings by default. No one in business or job is spared, regardless of what they do.
I’m not sure which category of news is higher these days – more & more health afflictions for more & more younger people or more & more kinds of health / fitness suggestions from more & more kinds of specialists. I direct my post to working people and their unending thirst for knowledge in the area. People are devouring knowledge on fitness and nutrition as hungrily as the next burger!
A story about a holy Guru in Indian scriptures, Baba Guru Nanak, talks about his trip to Mecca and how the priest at Mecca was angered when he saw Baba’s feet facing the Kaaba (the most sacred site in Islam). The story goes that Baba requested for his feet to be moved in the direction where God wasn’t. The idea of the anecdote is to show that God is everywhere.
